The better half of the pop duet "Captain and Tennille", they were popular in the Seventies, with songs such as „Love Will Keep Us Together". Ironically that didn’t match with her life, then in January this year she filed for divorce from Daryl Dragon (aka Captain) after thirty-nine years of marriage.

When the hype cooled down, with the music from Captain and Tennille she worked as a background singer for the likes of Pink Floyd (she sung on "The Wall", but it way sampled out), Art Garfunkel and Elton John. She can be heard in the albums Caribou, 21 at 33 and Blue Moves. The most notable song in which she sang backup was „Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me"

Cycle ride of the day:
My friend the dog
Every day on my round I meet a dog. It’s usually lying in the middle of the road, dreaming of whatever a dog dreams of. To begin with when I passed him, I said a friendly „Hallo" (he only understands German), my friendliness was because I respect dogs (you could say I don’t trust them). At that time he always jumped up and ran after me, but now he just stays lying on the road looking bored. Today, for the first time, I stopped to take his picture. That wasn’t easy because he came out of hibernation and came up to greet me. We exchanged back rubs and licks and arranged to meet again in the near future. Lovely dog, usually I don’t like those pavement shitting, flea bitten animals; but now I’ve got a new friend.

Correction:
Yesterday I wrote that Papa was born in Banffshire, untrue. He was born in Rhynie, Huntly, Aberdeenshire. That’s thirty kilometers from Keith. I knew the name of the place started with RY but I didn’t know further, thanks to Andrea I hit it right today. Like I wrote, I put some vague facts together hoping to hit the core. Thanks for the correction Andrea xxx
Here's a link to Rhynie, described in Wikipedia:
Bye, see you all tomorrow. Have a good day
