My first encounter of
a bikini was when I saw the James Bond film Dr No in 1962 when Ursula Andress
came out of the water wearing a white
bikini, around her midriff she wore a whitened Army belt with a dagger . How
sexy!

Birthday of the Day:

Josephine Baker
With much more sex appeal
Josephine Baker danced in the stage in the 1920’s wearing a Banana Costume. The
costume was panties- top and a skirt made of sixteen bananas stringed together.

Andrew Gold
I was shocked to see
that Andrew had died. He recorded some very good songs back in the 1970’s. The
one I remember the most was Oh What a Lonely Boy from the 1976 album What’s
Wrong With This Picture?
Ride of the Day:
Riding through the
countryside at the moment is like walking through fire. The farmers are cutting
the grass and hauling in the hay. As you can see on the photos, hay is lying
everywhere. Thank heavens there was no traffic on the roads where I cycle, it
could have been a little narrow. I would have had problems seeing the cars
also, then my eyes were flowing and my nose was running. On days like these I
wonder if I’ve taken on the right sport.
